The Process of Getting Veneers
Before you can get veneers, you’ll need to have a consultation at our office in Raleigh, during which one of our dentists will thoroughly inspect your mouth to confirm your candidacy. It usually takes two appointments to place veneers, and during the first, our dentist will begin by using a local anesthetic to make the process painless. They will then remove a tiny amount of enamel from the treated teeth and take bite impressions of them. Temporary veneers will then be placed on your teeth and you’ll be sent on your way.
The second appointment takes place about two weeks later after our dentist receives your permanent veneers from the laboratory where they were manufactured. Your temporary set will be removed and the permanent set will be cemented in place. After any final adjustments, you’ll be ready to greet life with your new smile.
