Meet Dr. Harding E. Douglas
Dr. Douglas has had an amazing 40+ year career in dentistry, and in that time, he’s helped multiple generations of patients achieve optimal oral health and confidence-inspiring aesthetics. We’re thrilled to have his extensive expertise in our practice, as he has virtually seen and done it all in the world of dentistry!
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Douglas first knew he wanted to become a dentist during his early college days. He saw the opportunity to work in a medical field that would give him the flexibility to be his own boss both in terms of clinical care and running his practice, and it was a path he just couldn’t pass up.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Douglas graduated from UNC Chapel Hill before earning his DDS at the UNC Dental School (now the Adams School of Dentistry).
On top of his decades of real-world experience, he also takes at least 15 hours of continuing education every year focused on endodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Douglas is the proud father of two college-age children, and when he isn’t visiting them, you’ll usually find him playing tennis, golfing, boating, fishing, or rock climbing. He is a proud USMC veteran who completed a tour in Vietnam.
